Property Fraud Alert Ready to Go for Wallace County Residents!
The Wallace County Register of Deeds office would like to inform ALL property landowners of a subscription service allowing landowners to have their individual name(s) or business name(s) monitored within the Register of Deeds office to track possible fraudulent activity. Subscribers will be notified when the name(s) they have submitted for notification is/are used in any recording activities within the office. When subscribing to the service, the landowner will have the option to choose one of the following notification methods: e-mail, text message, or phone call. The subscription service for Property Fraud Alert is FREE!
Protecting the consumers’ information and real estate property are top priorities for the Wallace County Register of Deeds office staff. While Property Fraud Alert does not prevent fraud from happening, it does provide an early warning system for property owners to take the appropriate actions should they determine possible fraudulent activity has taken place.
