NCRPC MODERATE INCOME HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM
Administered by North Central Regional Planning Commission through a partnership with the Dane G. Hansen Foundation
Offers reimbursement grants up to $10,000 to homeowners in Wallace County to complete minor housing upgrades. Examples of eligible housing upgrades: roofing, siding, electrical, A/C, furnace, foundation repair, windows, etc. Households must meet moderate income guidelines to be eligible to apply. A 10% match is required. APPLICATION FOUND HERE.

WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Administered by North Central Regional Planning Commission
Weatherization Assistance Program helps reduce energy costs for low-income households by increasing the energy efficiency of their homes, while ensuring their health and safety. After a pre-inspection, assistance may be used to update furnaces, insulation, windows, doors, etc. All weatherization work is done at no cost to the individual resident. If the dwelling is a rental unit, the landlord must sign a landlord release form before any materials will be installed. APPLICATION FOUND HERE.
WALLACE COUNTY RESIDENTIAL EXTERIOR ASSISTANCE
Administered by Wallace County Community Development through a partnership with the Patterson Family Foundation
Offers reimbursement grants to residential property owners in Wallace County for updates to the exterior of their home and/or rental property. A maximum grant of up to $2,500 per property is available. No income restrictions. $1-to-$1 match is required. APPLICATION FOUND HERE.
WALLACE COUNTY DEMOLITION PROGRAM
Administered by Wallace County Community Development through a partnership with the Patterson Family Foundation
Offers reimbursement grants to demolish a dilapidated residential structure (e.g. house, etc.) to property owners in Wallace County. Projects with plans to rebuild will be prioritized. WALLACE COUNTY VACANT PROPERTY SALE PROGRAM

Offers reimbursement grants to aid the seller and/or buyer in the sale of a long-term vacant residential property in Wallace County. A maximum grant of up to $2,500 per property is available. No income restrictions. $1-to-$1 match is required. APPLICATION FOUND HERE.
WALLACE COUNTY NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION PLAN
Administered by Wallace County Appraiser’s Office with support by Wallace County Community Development
Offers a property tax rebate of 95% for five years on approved residential improvements or new construction within Wallace County. Property owners must apply prior to beginning construction to be eligible. APPLICATION FOUND HERE.
KANSAS HOUSING COOPERATIVE LOAN PROGRAM
Administered by Northwest Kansas Economic Innovation Center
Offers a loan program for new construction housing. Loan amount, including the local match, will not exceed 17% of the total development cost and be capped at $55,000 per single-family home and $50,000 per unit for rental housing. APPLICATION FOUND HERE.
When appropriate, incentives may be stacked and used in combination.
For all programs, applications must be made, filed and approved before projects are started.
