Effective Date of Market Study: January 1, 2025

 

Residential Property:

A study of the residential real estate market indicated that there is an overall inflationary trend of 7.9% to 14.2%.

 

Commercial/Industrial:

A study of the commercial real estate market did not have enough sales to indicate a general upward or downward trend.

 

Vacant:

A study of the real estate market for vacant lots did not have enough sales to indicate a general upward or downward trend.

 

Values may not follow indicated trends due to current sales of similar properties, changes in the property, or correction of data.  All analyses are on file in the Wallace County Appraiser’s Office.  Real property owners will be notified of the county appraiser's estimate of value in March and the appeal period extends thirty days from the mailing date.
